The Adirondacks offer an escape from the stresses and complexities of life. This lush, lake-filled, eighteen-thousand square mile mountain region in northern New York State is a place where time stands still—where you can lose yourself in wild places, and recharge. Jim Lawyer has been connected to this region from an early age, at first hiking with family, then later climbing. Jim brings together a small crew of friends over a four-day rain-filled October weekend, to experience this wondrous, remote corner of the northeast.
