Together we spent a day capturing ambrotype images of a local wildland firefighting crew. The stark, unvarnished quality of this photographic medium parallels the vivid experiences of the firefighters.

Richelle is a motorcycle mechanic in Vancouver, BC who runs a mobile repair shop under the name True Grit Moto. The business was based around filling a gap she had experienced in the motorcycle industry, and in turn, welcoming others into a scene who may have otherwise felt out of place.
