Tropic of Cancer

As a native floridian, I’ve always been drawn to the tropical landscape. I started surfing at a young age and fell in love with the sport and culture. The connection to nature is my favorite aspect of this lifestyle and has been with me since birth. It is something that extends far beyond anything I could write. The salty sea air, the warm sun kissing my shoulders, the comforting hug of humidity, are all things I experience that make me feel most at home. I can only hope to capture the serenity I feel within my photos, exclusively on film to give it the most authentic feeling. My inspiration isn’t entirely drawn from surfing though. Simply put, the human connection to nature is enough to make me want to go out and shoot. It’s all around us and we are part of it, so I’m here to express that as best I can.
